Juliet Erazo - Ecuadorian Amazon

July 2014: Dr. Juliet Erazo obtained a Global Learning Faculty Fellowship and used the funds provided to take three undergraduate students to the Ecuadorian Amazon, where she has conducted anthropological research since 1999. The students accompanied her on interviews with indigenous leaders, development project staff, and indigenous farmers to understand the various ways in which the indigenous people of the region are working to increase their incomes while conserving the Amazonian ecosystem where they live.

Student Marisol Medina filmed and produced this video of the summer fieldwork experience
