“Healing Waters” Photographic Exhibit in FIU Green Library Gallery - Second floor. John Bobs Carlos photographs, Nancy’s Burl wood and other Everglades artists.
Opening/closing of the current exhibition. Water ceremony with Miccosukee, Seminole, and First Peoples of Canada. Reception: Thursday April 12 from 6pm – 9pm. GL 200.
Photographer JohnBob Carlos’desire is to help people find healing for themselves, our water, the Everglades, and Florida’s wild spaces. “May these images serve as a reminder of the natural beauty that is here now and that can still be saved for future generations.”
JohnBob Carlos is a native Floridian who captures images of Florida’s wildlife, landscapes, cultures, and waterways. He uses his images to create a voice for Florida’s nature and to help preserve Florida’s Indigenous cultures.
