Three months ago we began work on the web page for the FIU Global Indigenous Forum. It has been a team effort that has been enormously enhanced by the other GIF/GIG web committee members Rubi Hurdato, Adriana Valencia and John Lee. Dr. Juliet Erazo obtained a Global Learning Faculty Fellowship and used the funds provided to take three undergraduate students to the Ecuadorian Amazon, where she has conducted anthropological research since 1999.
